Discover how Rhinoplasty, also known as Nose Reshaping, can dramatically enhance both the aesthetics and function of your nose. Address concerns such as nasal asymmetry, size alterations, refining the nasal tip, and correcting breathing difficulties with this transformative surgical procedure.
Many individuals may be concerned with the size or shape of their nose, considering its important role in facial symmetry. Consequently, many opt for rhinoplasty, a surgical procedure aimed at achieving a more balanced facial appearance.
Nose reshaping procedures are conducted through two main approaches. The closed rhinoplasty method involves surgery performed from inside the nostrils, while an open rhinoplasty involves making a small incision on the nose and lifting the skin. The technique used will depend on the nose area targeted for treatment. Our expert surgeon will let you know which type of nose surgery is most suited for you, and you can raise any questions or concerns during your initial consultation!

Rhinoplasty procedures are tailored to each client’s unique anatomical characteristics and aesthetic goals, allowing for personalized treatment plans and natural-looking results that enhance facial aesthetics while maintaining individuality.
While individual outcomes may vary, the results of rhinoplasty surgery are typically long-lasting, providing clients with enduring improvements to the appearance and function of their nose for years to come.
Rhinoplasty can improve the balance and proportions of the face by reshaping the nose to better complement other facial features, resulting in a more harmonious appearance.
The difference between the two types of surgery are quite simple! Closed Rhinoplasty involves external nose correction where all incisions are made inside the nose and subsequently closed. In open nose surgery, an extra incision is made to the skin between the nostrils. This incision allows our surgeon to elevate the skin of the nasal tip, providing access to its structures. Following the procedure, the incision is sutured, and the recovery process proceeds smoothly. Over time, the suture becomes inconspicuous.
Recovery period is around 1-2 weeks for the Open Rhinoplasty at Medisculpt. There may be swelling, bruising for 1-3 months and some expected numbness on the tip area for 3 months.
The internal sutures used will dissolve, but external sutures need to be removed after a week. Patients should not drive for a week and must avoid contact sports for 4-6 weeks (about 1 and a half months).
You should also expect some remaining swelling for at least 1-3 months with the final, optimum result taking up to a year. Occasionally some people might have irregularities, on rare occasions where this is noticeable, a touch-up may be required.
Recovery period is around 1-2 weeks weeks for the Closed Rhinoplasty at Medisculpt. There may be swelling, bruising for 2-4 weeks post-surgery. The end results is faster compared to that of the Open Rhinoplasty, with best results visible around 6 months post-surgery.
