This procedure can be done with local, sedation with IV or general anesthetic, this will depend on your desired outcome and specific procedure plan decided by our Surgeon. During the Ear Reshaping surgery, there are buried sutures used to reinforce the shape of the cartilage, and our experienced surgeon will make small and discreet surgical incisions behind and within the ears to ensure there is minimal visible scarring. Our clients can achieve great results that appear natural! Occasionally there might be a degree of asymmetry and we might have to do a correction after six months or a year in rare cases.
Ear Reshaping surgery or otoplasty is frequently sought by individuals with prominent ears who desire them positioned closer to the head, decreased in size, or both. However, it also serves to modify the shape or size alone. This involves skin removal, reshaping the underlying cartilage, and suturing the ears before applying bandages to the area.
