As time passes and our weight fluctuates, it’s not uncommon for the skin on our thighs to lose its firmness and elasticity, resulting in a sagging appearance. However, there’s an effective solution that can help you achieve your goals: Thigh Lift with Liposuction. By expertly reducing and tightening excess skin, a thigh lift with liposuction offers a transformative opportunity to reclaim the toned and contoured legs you desire.
A Thigh Lift with Liposuction is a surgical procedure in which excess skin and fat are removed to tighten the skin and improve your thigh contours. The combined effects of ageing, gravity, fluctuations in weight, and a loss of skin elasticity all contribute to loss of tone in the legs as we age. This procedure is indicated after big weight loss, when there is excess skin that cannot improve with exercise. There are visible scars which are well placed, so that when healed they are not too visible.
Learn how our Thigh Lift with Liposuction Surgery at Medisculpt can improve your confidence and help you achieve the appearance and contours in yout thighs, saying goodbye to sagging, loose skin!
A thigh lift combined with liposuction can sculpt and reshape the thighs, removing excess fat and skin to create smoother, more defined contours. This can help you achieve a slimmer and more proportionate lower body appearance.
Excess skin and tissue can cause the thighs to sag, especially after significant weight loss or aging. A thigh lift removes this loose skin, tightening and lifting the thigh area for a firmer and more youthful look.
By addressing concerns and achieving a more aesthetically pleasing thigh appearance, you can experience a boost in confidence and self-esteem. You will feel more comfortable wearing shorts, skirts, and swimwear, leading to a greater sense of freedom and empowerment.
While individual results may vary, the results of a thigh lift with liposuction can be long-lasting, especially with proper diet and exercise maintenance. You can enjoy the benefits of your improved thigh contours for years to come, making it a worthwhile investment in your overall appearance and well-being.
It is very common to use our Liposuction procedures with the Thigh Lift surgery in order to reshape the contour of the thighs and preserve the lymphatics, reducing the long-term swelling!
During the procedure excess skin and fat are removed through incisions. Our surgeon, Dr Helena Antoniadou, will make incisions on the groin crease and the inner thigh, depending on your needs and goals. The underlying tissue matrix will be reshaped and tightened, and skin will be reduced and re-draped resulting in more proportionate and smoother body contour. The surgeon will then remove this excess skin and far from the thughs using liposuction! The incision line is sutured with dissolving stitches and surgical tapes are then applied to the surface of the skin. This operation is usually performed under general anaesthetic and can take up to 3-4 hours to complete!
During your Thigh Lift procedure, you and your surgeon Helena will discuss the procedure, the journey process and all the details in between. For our Thigh Lift with Liposuction surgery, we use general anaesthesia. You and your surgeon will talk about all your concerns and desired ourcome, considering your medical needs and the type and location of the liposuction being performed. Overall, there will be no discomfort for you during the procedure, and it will reduce any riks of remembering any pain from the surgery. Ultimately, the most uncomfortable part of the surgery you will feel is the the moment the anaesthesia IV or injection is inserted.
