By addressing concerns about nipple appearance, this surgery can boost self-esteem and body confidence, allowing clients to feel more comfortable and confident in intimate and social settings.

Resolving concerns about nipple appearance can have positive psychological effects, reducing feelings of self-consciousness and improving overall psychological well-being and quality of life.
Nipple correction surgery works by correcting issues associated with enlarged, asymmetrical, protruding or inverted nipples and can be present in both females and males. A nipple is made up of two parts, called the nipple and the areola. The nipple is the projected part, and the areola is the dark pigmented skin that surrounds the nipple. Inverted nipples are the most common nipple correction surgery that surgeons perform and are a result of an imbalance in muscle traction, where the strength of the outward muscle is weaker that the inward muscle, resulting in the nipple remaining permanently retracted.
During the surgery, your surgeon will make an incision beneath the nipple to release it from the surrounding tissue. A stitch is then placed around the nipple, and a small splint is applied to maintain it in a protruding position. These will usually remain in place for approximately one week, along with a gauze dressing if necessary.
During your Nipple Correction procedure journey, you and your surgeon, Dr Helena Antoniadou, will discuss the procedure, the journey process and all the details in between. For our Nipple Correction procedures, we use local anaesthesia. Overall, there will be no discomfort for you during the procedure, and it will reduce any riks of remembering any pain from the surgery. Ultimately, the most uncomfortable part of the surgery you will feel is the the moment the anaesthesia is administered.
